Arnold, Nottingham, with hybrid working
Salary up to £55,000 per annum, commensurate with experience
We are working in partnership with a small, well-established law firm (part of a larger group), who are looking to attract an experienced Family Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to head up and drive forward the Family Law Department.
The role has come about due to retirement, so you’ll be taking over an established, wide-ranging caseload, with a handover period, to get up to speed with existing matters.
You will be working as the sole fee earner in the family department, so it’s a great opportunity to work autonomously, showcase your skills and experience and develop your career.
The role will involve:
- Managing a caseload of privately funded family law matters including divorce and separation, child arrangements and domestic abuse
- Advising clients in relation to all aspects of family law and keeping them fully updated
- Driving the family law department forward
Suitable candidates will have:
- Fully qualified status (solicitor or chartered legal executive)
- Around 3 years’+ PQE
- Experience of running a privately funded family law caseload
- A desire to progress your career within private family law
This is a full-time permanent job working 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
