We are working in partnership with a well-established national law firm, who are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary, to support their busy Conveyancing Team in Birmingham city centre.
The firm are Lexcel and CQS accredited, employing over 450 staff in their growing network of offices throughout the UK.
The role will involve:
- Providing administrative and secretarial support to the Conveyancing team
- Dealing with telephone calls, visitors and enquiries
- Preparing correspondence using a legal case management system.
- Opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files
- Undertaking searches, ID checks and other work on files
- Preparing mail and enclosures for dispatch
- Arranging the scanning and photocopying of paperwork
- Carrying out other duties and responsibilities as required
- Creating and amending legal documents
Suitable candidates will have:
- Experience of working within a Residential Conveyancing department.
- A good telephone manner and the ability to professionally deal with clients on the telephone and in person
- A highly organised, methodical and adaptable approach to work
