Salary £23,000 to £25,000 per annum
We are working with a very well-established Legal 500-listed, Lexcel and CQS accredited multi-office regional law firm, who are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary or a Conveyancing Paralegal to join their busy Property Team based in Coventry city centre.
This is a full time, office-based, position working Monday-Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm with an hour for lunch.
The successful candidate will assist Fee Earners with a range of administrative tasks to support the Conveyancing process.
The role will involve:
- Providing support to the Residential Conveyancing Team
- Undertaking document preparation, typing and administration work
- Scanning post and allocating to fee earners electronically
- Assisting in maintaining client files
- Providing Conveyancing quotes
- Opening new files
- Progressing files through to post-completion, file closing and archiving
- Dealing with client enquiries and queries over the telephone and in person
- Providing updates to clients and estate agents
- Updating files on a Legal Case Management System
Suitable Candidates will have:
- Experience of working in a law firm, supporting a conveyancing team
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Good organisational skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Experience of using MS office – Word, Excel, Outlook
- Experience of using a legal case management system
This is a full time, office based permanent job, working 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (35 hours per week)
