We are working with a very well-established multi-office regional law firm who are looking to attract an experienced Company Commercial / Commercial Contracts and Employment Paralegal to join their renowned Company Commercial Department at their modern head office on the outskirts of Coventry. Free parking is available on site. 

This is a full time permanent job working 9am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday and is fully office-based.

The role is offered with a high level of commitment to training and development, with progression to a training contract in the longer term if desired. Salary will reflect experience and qualifications.

The role will involve 

• Handling a straight forward caseload (following training where applicable).
• Supporting a busy Company Commercial team who deal with 
  • business and company acquisitions and disposals
  • company restructuring and reorganisation
  • dealing with shareholder issues
  • advising on finance and banking arrangements
  • contract negotiations
  • drafting contracts including contracts of employment
  • dealing with Terms and Conditions
  • providing advice on intellectual property protection
  • Advising clients on internet trading laws

Suitable candidates will have:

• A minimum of 12 months’ experience within corporate or commercial contracts work
• Previous experience of employment law (desirable but not essential)
• Excellent communication skills
• A desire to progress your career within the company commercial field
