Property Legal Secretary / Property Support Assistant
Location: Lichfield
Salary c£26,000 per annum, negotiable commensurate with experience and qualifications
We are working with a very well-established, small, friendly high street law firm who have had a presence in Lichfield for over 100 years and are very much part of the local community.
We are looking for an experienced Conveyancing / Property Legal Secretary or Legal Support Assistant to support a busy specialist Landlord (Residential Leasehold and Enfranchisement) team.
Training in specialist landlord/residential leasehold and enfranchisement work will be provided.
This role would be suitable for someone who has some experience within residential conveyancing who is looking to move away from transactional work.
The role will involve:
- Supporting busy fee earners with secretarial and administrative duties
- Working as a key member of the specialist Leasehold and Enfranchisement team
- Liaising with clients and third-party professionals by phone, email and face to face
- Typing of correspondence and legal documents
- Providing administrative support to the team
Suitable candidates will have:
- Previous experience as a legal secretary or legal assistant within conveyancing or commercial property
- Knowledge of land registry procedures
- Experience of using the land registry portal
- Excellent communication skills
This is a full-time permanent job working 9am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday.
