Conveyancing Fee Earner (Paralegal or NQ Solicitor)

Conveyancing Fee Earner – Paralegal or NQ-3 years’ PQE (Solicitor or FCILEx)

Bromsgrove – Office Based

We are working in partnership with a prestigious national law firm, who are Lexcel and CQS accredited and are listed on the Legal 500.  They are looking to attract an experienced conveyancing fee earner to join their team as a Junior Conveyancer.

The role would suit a conveyancing paralegal with fee earning experience, an NQ Solicitor/Legal Executive or a Solicitor/Legal Executive with up to three years’ PQE.

The role will involve:

  • Assisting with a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion including sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold residential properties 
  • Preparing correspondence, enclosures and documents and undertaking daily filing, opening closing, storage and retrieval of client files.
  • Liaising with, and build relationships with other professionals involved in property transactions including local estate agents
  • Making appointments, arranging meetings and diary management
  • Using a conveyancing legal case management systems
  • Providing quotations to clients and prospective clients both verbally and in writing
  • Liaising with clients, agents and other third party professionals   

Suitable candidates will have

  • A good understanding of the Conveyancing process from start to finish
  • Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational skills

This is a full time permanent job which is fully office-based, working 9am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday.
