Conveyancing Legal Secretary / Administrator – full-time or part-time

Full-time (35 hours per week) or part-time hours considered

Location: The role can be based in either Coventry or Leamington Spa

Salary c £25,000 per annum – negotiable in line with experience

We are working with a well-established, highly regarded, multi-office law firm who are looking to attract an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary to support their busy Conveyancing team.  The role can be based in either their Coventry city centre office or their Leamington Spa town centre office. 

This is a newly created role, due to sheer volume of business, so it’s a key position within the team, who are very much waiting to welcome you. 

What’s involved?

  • Provision of administrative and secretarial duties, supporting a busy Conveyancing team. 
  • Typing of legal documents and correspondence
  • Scanning post and allocating to fee earners electronically
  • Assisting in maintaining client files
  • Providing Conveyancing quotes and progressing files through to post-completion
  • File closing and archiving 
  • Dealing with client enquiries and queries over the telephone and in person
  • Providing updates to clients and estate agents
  • Updating files on a legal case management system

Who we’re looking for:

Suitable candidates are likely to have:

  • Experience of supporting a conveyancing team in a law firm
  • Excellent audio and copy typing skills
  • Experience of using a legal case management system
  • Knowledge of the residential conveyancing process
  • Excellent client care skills
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail

What’s on offer?

This is a permanent job which is offered on either a full-time or part-time basis. Core hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (35 hours per week). If you’re interested in part time hours, please state hours required on application
