Private Family Paralegal

Location: Leamington Spa (with free parking onsite)

Salary Range: £25,000 to £30,000 commensurate with experience

We are working with a well-established, Lexcel-accredited law firm who are offering fabulous career progression opportunities for candidates educated to degree level and above, who are looking to carve out a long-term career within family law. 

The role will involve:

• Supporting fee earners to ensure the smooth running of their caseloads of privately funded family law matters including divorce, property and finance and children matters, including high net worth cases
• Taking instructions from clients and working closely with fee earners to progress matters forward 
• Drafting legal documents and applications relating to divorce, financial remedy, and Children Act matters
• Preparing court bundles in readiness for hearings
• Submitting/progressing applications on the court portal for divorce, financial remedy, and Children Act matters
• Liaising with clients by phone, email and face to face, ensuring they are kept fully updated 

Suitable candidates will have:

• A law degree (essential) 
• A minimum of 12 months’ experience supporting a family law team
• Experience of using a case management system
• Experience of using the court portal for divorce applications
• Experience of preparing bundles for court within family law
• A desire to progress your career within family law, to eventually qualify as a solicitor

This is a full-time permanent job, working on-site, Monday to Friday.
