Salary from £23,000 to £35,000 per annum depending on experience

We are working with a well-established and highly reputable law firm who are looking to attract a passionate and ambitious Private Client Paralegal to join their supportive and very experienced team based in Nuneaton. 

The firm are open to considering an experienced Fee Earner for the role, or an experienced Support Paralegal or Legal Assistant with a law degree who wants to progress their career.

The successful candidate will receive excellent training and mentoring, including an opportunity to secure a training contract to become fully qualified, and also fully funded training to become a STEP qualified member (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners).

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants a successful, long-term career within Private Client. It wouldn’t be suitable if you’re not passionate about this area of law, or want to move into other areas of law. The role will involve:

• Dealing with a varied caseload of private client matters including: 
  • Wills
  • Estate administration
  • Powers of Attorney
  • Taxation
  • Trusts
  • Court of Protection
• Working as part of a team alongside 3 experienced Private Client Fee Earners and additional support staff
• Attending to clients by telephone, email and face to face
• Maintaining files and ensuring efficient case management of Private Client matters, keeping clients updated

Suitable Candidates will have:

• At least 12 months’ experience working within a private client team in a law firm
• A law degree
• The ability to work well as part of a team
• Experience in handling a caseload of private client work 
• Excellent client care skills
• A passion for private client law 
• Ambition to progress their career

This is a full-time permanent position based at the office in Nuneaton, working 36.25 hours per week – Monday to Friday.
