Commercial Property Secretary

Coventry

Salary: up to £23,000 per annum

We are working with an award-winning Lexcel accredited, Legal 500-listed law firm who are looking for an experienced Commercial Property Secretary to join their busy Commercial Property Department based in Coventry.

This is a full-time permanent position, working 9am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday (36.25 hours per week).   Remote working may be accommodated for part of the week.

The role will involve:

  • Provision of secretarial and administrative support within the Commercial Property Department
  • Processing correspondence and legal documents 
  • Audio typing from digital dictation 
  • Liaising with existing and potential clients, and business contacts, communicating with clients and third parties 
  • Diary management 
  • Liaising with other administration staff regarding storage and retrieval of client’s files, title deeds and other documents, and the closing and archiving of files 
  • Dealing with accounting and financial matters 
  • Dealing with incoming correspondence 

Suitable candidates will have:

  • Excellent face-to-face and telephone communication skills
  • Proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Experience of audio typing from digital dictation 
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workloads
  • A minimum of 12 months’ commercial property secretarial experience 
  • The ability to work well as part of a team
